In the late ‘90s, two friends from Adelaide, South Australia set out to create a game that anyone could play—one with no right or wrong answers, just everyday words, quick thinking, and creativity. They wanted a game where no one felt inadequate, where laughter flowed naturally, and where conversation and connection thrived.

Played, loved, and perfected over the years, the game became a hit wherever it went. No one seemed to not like playing, people laughed and genuinely had fun. But in 2003, life hit pause and the idea to produce it for sale was shelved —until now.

Along came 2020 — and with it, a powerful reminder of what really matters. In a time of isolation, disconnection, and endless screens, people were searching for something real.

And that’s when the games' true purpose became clear. It wasn’t just a game. It was a way to reconnect — to laugh, to share, and to feel together again.

So, during COVID that old game from 2003 was dusted off and shown to a few mates who liked the idea. From there a small team was put together and thinkle was brought to life. It's been a huge job but one that has been incredibly rewarding.

Now more than ever, thinkle is proving to be more than just a game. It’s a bridge between generations, a reason to put down screens, and a tool for sparking laughter, connection, and meaningful moments.
